24 Hours Motorcycle Le Mans: accommodation and parking guide
Everything to plan your 24 Hours Motorcycle weekend in Le Mans: accommodation areas, prices, motorcycle parking, tips for biker groups.
The 24 Hours Motorcycle Le Mans opens the season of major events at the Bugatti Circuit. More intimate than the 24 Hours auto but just as intense, the race draws nearly 100,000 spectators each year. Here's how to plan your trip.
When is the 24 Hours Motorcycle 2026?
The 2026 edition runs on the weekend of 18-19 April 2026. Practice starts Thursday, qualifying Friday, and the race is flagged off Saturday at 3 pm. The real challenge: staying awake all night to see the sun rise over the track on Sunday morning.
Differences from the 24 Hours auto
- More manageable crowds: ~100,000 spectators vs 300,000 in June. Fewer jams, easier accommodation.
- Softer prices: still high but 30-40% below the 24 Hours auto.
- Cooler weather: bring a good windbreaker and warm layers for the night at the circuit.
- Biker vibe: the "clan" spirit is strong, the paddock is accessible and Friday's parade in town is a must.
Where to stay during the 24 Hours Moto?
Official campsite
Popular with bikers bringing their machines. Festive atmosphere, but noisy and damp in April. Book by January.
House rental or Airbnb
The best choice for a group of friends. You've got a kitchen so you don't depend on packed restaurants, and a real bed to recover between sessions at the circuit.
Hotels
Availability is easier than in June, but book before March for the best choice. Prefer Le Mans city rather than Arnage (too congested).

Practical tips
