MotoGP France 2026 in Le Mans: accommodation and practical tips
French MotoGP 2026 at the Bugatti Circuit: dates, accommodation rates, transport, tips for a great weekend with family or friends.
The French MotoGP Grand Prix is one of the can't-miss rounds of the world championship. Every year, over 200,000 spectators flood into Le Mans to watch Quartararo, Bagnaia, Márquez and the other stars of the grid. Here's the complete guide to planning your weekend.
When is the French MotoGP 2026?
The French MotoGP 2026 takes place on the weekend of 8, 9 and 10 May 2026. Free practice on Friday, Sprint Race on Saturday, Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 all race the same weekend.
Why Le Mans MotoGP stands out
- Attendance record of the championship: Le Mans is regularly the most-attended round of the MotoGP season.
- Exceptional French atmosphere: the Dunlop and Raccordement corners go wild for the French riders.
- Large fan village: manufacturer stands, rider meet-ups, activities for kids.
Planning accommodation: what to know
Book very early
Accommodation fills up from November-December of the previous year. By March there's almost nothing left in the city. Plan as early as possible.
Stay in Le Mans city rather than at the circuit
The villages around the circuit (Arnage, Mulsanne) are saturated and roads are blocked. In the city, you also benefit from the historic centre and restaurants. The drive to the circuit is still very reasonable (15-20 min off-event, 45-60 min on race days due to traffic).
Recommended length of stay
3 nights minimum (Friday to Sunday) to fully enjoy the event. Ideally 4 nights if you also want to explore the region.
Accommodation rates for MotoGP 2026
- Hotel room for 2: €180-350/night
- Airbnb 1-bedroom: €150-280/night
- House for 6-8: €600-1,200/night
- Large group house (15-18 people): €2,000-3,500/night
For a group of 15+, renting a large house is unbeatable economically and far more enjoyable than a series of hotel rooms.
Our house: perfect for a MotoGP weekend with friends
Our 9 private suites with en-suite bathrooms welcome up to 18 guests in a quiet setting, 15-20 minutes from the Bugatti Circuit off-event (45-60 min on race days):

- 10 min walk from Le Mans station + direct tram T1 to the circuit (~30 min door-to-door, no parking stress)
- 215 m² total (common areas, bedrooms and gym/zen annex): living room, kitchen, sunroom, terrace
- Gym and zen space
- High-speed Wi-Fi to watch practice replays
- Smart lock, self check-in from 5 pm
Practical tips for your MotoGP weekend
- Tickets: open an account on the Bugatti Circuit official site from September for the best presale.
- Rain gear: May in Le Mans can bring showers. Bring a poncho and waterproof boots.
- Transport: avoid the car on Sunday morning. The T1 tram from Le Mans station reaches the East entrance in about 20 min (every 4-5 min on race day). By far the fastest and least stressful option.
- Plan the return: Sunday evening after the race, roads are completely jammed for 2 to 3 hours.
