Bringing the whole family together in Le Mans: a house with a table for 16 to 20

We have extended the table. In the kitchen, it now has 16 seats, and 20 when you pull up the two high bistro tables from the sunroom. In other words, the house can now do what families asked us for most often: bring everyone together around the same meal, under the same roof, for Christmas, a birthday, a wedding or a christening.

A big table for 16, 20 with the sunroom

The big table in the kitchen-dining area is surrounded by 16 bar stools, set up permanently: no folding chairs to drag out, everyone sits at the same height, at the same table.

In the sunroom, two high bistro tables seating two each, with the same stools, are used day to day for a coffee or a drink in a small group. They are easy to move: pulled up to the big table, they bring it to 20 people, exactly the number of sleeping places in the house. Nobody is sent to the kids' table, nobody eats in the living room.

Around them, the sunroom has a coffee corner and an aperitif corner, and it opens onto the living room: while some are cooking, the others chat just a few steps away, and nobody is cut off in another room.

For which occasions?

• Christmas and New Year: the festive dinner for 20 in a heated house, and everyone goes upstairs to their own bedroom instead of driving home.
• Birthdays: a parent's 60th, a teenager's 18th, the grandparents' golden wedding anniversary — a reason to bring the whole family together for a real weekend, not just a meal.
• Weddings: put up your loved ones in one place the night before and the day after, and gather everyone for Sunday brunch.
• Christenings and first communions: the family lunch at the house, then everyone stays the night.
• Family reunions: when the family is scattered across France and beyond, Le Mans is 55 minutes from Paris by TGV.

Together at the table, a room of your own to sleep in

This is what sets the house apart from a typical large holiday rental: all 9 bedrooms have their own private shower room, storage and key. The grandparents do not queue behind the teenagers in the morning, and every couple or family keeps its privacy.

• Up to 20 sleeping places: 9 double beds and 2 single sofa beds.
• Fully equipped kitchen: oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, bean-to-cup coffee machine — everything you need to cook a festive meal for 20.
• Living room with a corner sofa and a large smart TV, for the late-evening film.
• Enclosed 90 m² garden, facing due south, with large tables to eat outside for 20 in the warm season (see the garden).
• Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning included: nobody spends Sunday afternoon making beds.

Practical information, with full transparency

• Children: the house is not suited to children under 10 (stairs, no baby equipment). They are nevertheless accepted under adult supervision. Teenagers are welcome.
• Pets: not allowed, neither in the house nor in the garden.
• Parking: free on the street, no parking disc or meter, but no reserved space. Consider car-sharing or the train: the TGV station is a 10-minute walk away.
• Self check-in from 5 pm thanks to the smart lock: everyone arrives at their own pace, even late.

Even before the table was extended, families and groups of friends chose the house to get together.

In August 2026, Inma came from Spain with a family group of 18:

“We were a family group of 18 and we were very comfortable, with the option of cooking there. The spacious kitchen, the showers in the bedrooms which give you more privacy, the super comfortable beds… it was great.”
