Where to stay for the SWS Karting Finals in Le Mans (20-23 May 2026)?

SWS International Finals 2026 at Le Mans Karting Circuit: dates, format (including a new 24h endurance race), accommodation for teams. Our house 15 min from the circuit.

The SWS International Finals are the biggest amateur karting event in Europe. Organised by Sodikart, they gather hundreds of leisure-karting drivers for a multi-day showdown at a legendary venue. In 2026, Le Mans hosts the event — with, for the first time, a 24-hour endurance race. Here's the full guide to plan your trip.

When are the SWS Karting Finals 2026?

The 2026 edition runs from 20 to 23 May 2026 at Le Mans International Karting Circuit. The event uses two tracks: the Alain Prost Circuit for the youngest drivers, and Le Mans International Karting Circuit for the other categories.

A brand-new format: 24-hour karting endurance

For the first time, SWS introduces a 24-hour endurance race alongside the traditional sprint events. A real challenge for teams — driver rotations, pit stops, strategy and recovery, just like the 24 Hours of Le Mans auto race, but on karts.

Why come to the SWS Karting Finals

  • The pinnacle of amateur karting: qualifying through your local club brings you to this international stage.
  • International atmosphere: drivers and teams from all over Europe, multilingual paddocks, genuine sportsmanship.
  • Two world-class circuits: Le Mans International Karting and Alain Prost Circuit, inside the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans compound.
  • Accessible to amateurs: regional qualifiers throughout the year let any local club earn a slot.

Where to stay for the SWS Karting Finals?

The event spans 4 days, with some teams arriving Monday for scrutineering. Plan a 4- to 6-night stay, or more for teams extending their weekend.

Close to the circuit

Arnage and nearby villages fill up the moment the event is announced. Hotels spike their rates. Book from the previous autumn to have choice.

House rental for a team

For a full team (mechanics, coach, drivers, support), renting a whole house is the best option. You get a kitchen to prep meals, real space to recover between sessions, and the vibe of a unique place.

Le Mans city

The best compromise: 15-20 minutes from the circuit off-peak, historic centre for evening downtime, strong dining options, excellent TGV access.

Our house: perfect for a karting team

Our 9 private suites with en-suite bathrooms accommodate up to 18 guests — the ideal setup for a full team:

  • Separate bedrooms: drivers, coach and support each have their own space to recover.
  • Fully equipped kitchen with central island: pasta parties, team dinners, pre-race fuelling in a friendly setting.
  • 215 m² total (common areas, bedrooms and gym/zen annex) for strategy debriefs.
  • Gym and zen space: warm-up, stretching, active recovery on site.
  • 15-20 min from the circuit off-event (expect more on peak event days).
  • 10 min walk from the TGV station: Paris in 55 min. Foreign drivers can collect their gear at the circuit then reach the house car-free.
  • Free street parking on a quiet residential street.
  • Smart lock, self check-in from 5 pm — convenient if the team arrives in waves.

Practical tips for your SWS stay

  1. Book early: the best accommodation goes as soon as quotas are announced (October-November of the year before).
  2. Plan your meals: catering at the circuit is pricey and crowded. Having a kitchen to prep breakfasts and dinners changes everything over 4 days.
  3. Manage recovery: 24-h endurance = little sleep during the race. Arrive a day early and leave a day later to absorb the load.
  4. Gear transport: some drivers bring their own seat, steering wheel and suit. Check car space and on-site secure storage.
  5. Enjoy Le Mans: on a day off, a walk through Plantagenet City is a great way to decompress.
